Don't understand why you need money and luxury to learn? The biggest problem is that after 20 (or should be after college) people don't realy learn acadamically anymore. So not enough stimulation to the brain to make significant connections. I do agree with arpiao though.
It is because their parents did not educate them how to lead a decent life.
