山寨culture is going to have much more impact than anyone can believe. Althoug there are different opinions, I strongly believe it is more like "kill hen for eggs" kind of action. Reduce the market value by 80% to satisfy few suppliers is not a best move not mentioning about screwing up all IP and fairness. Bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when 阿標 said "壓寨夫人", it took on two layers of meaning.

First layer being; the girl is a mistress.

Second layer being; using the term "山寨" literally, therefore making the mistress a "壓寨夫人".

Ha, I just learned the term山寨from my friends. And we were discussing the English translation of it. English news used “illegal copy” for 山寨 cell phones. But it’s kind of expanding beyond the meaning of illegal copy. It looks like a mimic in a negative or funny way can now be called 山寨版. Not very sure about my understanding though. A “illegal copy” or “mimic” wife? Do we really use this term 壓寨夫人 now? Or Ar-biao is just making fun of it?
