I'm close to 50 and i'm still a software engineer. I'm not a hotshot who can do VC or have money to do my own business, or charity. I need money and need to work hard. Any better suggestions?

I would do charity when I am old and have no financial problem. I would not compete with young people in career.

Human beings have longer lives now and therefore, a longer period to work for those who like to work and also a longer time to play around for those who like to play. Anyway, we will have more time in life. Not bad!
