(To hold Non-partisan view is the Higher Ground..), I am just no so sure what that particular phrase "non-partisan" means anymore. I thought I used to know, it seems like a political catchy phrase to use nowadays...much like "reaching over the isle".
However, to do what you suggested and compromise my principles just to " be less miserable facing one's soul." I am not overtly eager to agree with your notion just yet.

It is certainly not dangerous as far as I am concern especially when it comes to moral issues.
